North Greenwich

One of the most developed communities in the underground network, with farms, workshops, stores and organised military structures. It is Harvey Hunter’s home and the starting point of the story.
Canary Wharf
A commercial centre and strategic hub in eastern London, home to major markets, customs points and storage depots serving the eastern communities.
Bank
A heavily fortified station known for its armouries and military stockpiles. The events that take place here change Harvey’s fate forever.
King’s Cross St. Pancras
The headquarters of the Iron Legion and the centre of Salim al-Kadir’s power. It is one of the most heavily defended stations in underground London.
Green Park
The political capital of the underground network, seat of the High Council and meeting place of the major community leaders.
Old Street
An important frontier station between the eastern communities and the disputed territories of the west.
Warren Street
An isolated community populated largely by children and marginalised survivors.
Oxford Circus
A strategic station close to Iron Legion territory and one of the last independent strongholds in the west.
Moorgate
An essential transit corridor between east and centre. It is also where Harvey and Fiona develop one of the most important bonds in the novel.
Bermondsey
A customs point and logistics centre for the southern communities.
